Delivery and teardown
The machine was delivered on a pallet, with all the accessories and the stand. Here I already pulled apart the pallet to see what I got – The machine is very, very dirty but no rust or wear.
The Kennedy stand it came with (I have no idea how it ended up in Germany, to my knowledge no one sells Kennedy Boxes/Stands over here) is of very questionable quality. Paperthin sheet metal and screwed together.
This will probably get replaced by a Lista cabinet with nice full-depth ball bearing drawers.
To get the machine into the basement, I am taking it apart right away and clean up most of the parts as far as possible.
Getting everything back together, at least temporary, as I want to do a lot of modifications to the machine.
